First, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank His Excellency Eng. Ali Ibrahim Al-Naimi, the former Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for his wisdom and vision in launching the initiative of establishing SPSP’s strategic mission and vision to become a world-class Petroleum Services.

The Chairman of the SPSP Board of Trustees

Such a polytechnic will positively impact the quality of technical training to provide the Kingdom with a highly skilled, internationally qualified Saudi national workforce that meets the demands of the oil and gas companies in the local market. Sponsoring companies will benefit from a wide variety of comprehensive, industry-specific training programs delivered through a combination of classroom learning, project exercises, and workshop competency-based hands-on training programs. The SPSP campus and facilities have been designed to create an effective training environment that enables all students to maximize their learning and development experience. The Saudi and world energy requirements demand ever more energy resources to support the industry. The SPSP is fully committed to providing the highest quality of training for young Saudi nationals offering a fantastic opportunity to join the workforce with the required job-entry skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to secure a career within the petroleum services industry.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s largest suppliers of oil and gas and with fast rates of industrial growth and increased demands for oil and gas globally, it is essential that we invest in our Saudi youth to ensure the future prosperity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The future is indeed bright for our Saudi youth and I would strongly encourage all trainees to take full advantage of this opportunity for the benefit of themselves, their families, the sponsoring companies and for the growth and development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I would like to thank and commend the SPSP management team for their hard work, dedication and commitment to making the SPSP a reality. I also extend my thanks to all partnership organizations and sponsoring companies for the great role they play and will continue to play through their valuable support, now and in the future.
