SPSP held the final Football Championship between the academic team and the technical team, in which the Academic team won. This event was commemorated by the Governor of Al-Khafji Professor Muhammad bin Sultan Al-Hazaa, Chief Executive Officer of Aramco Gulf operations Mr. Azib Al-Qahtani, SPSP CEO, Mr. Bassam Al-Bokhari, Director of SPSP Khafji Mr. Mubarak Al-Hajri, and former Director of SPSP Khafji Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Hudaib.

The trophy was handed over to the winning team in addition to medals. Trainee Ahmad Al-Habib was awarded best player of the academic team while trainee Talal Al-Otaibi was awarded best player of the technical team.
