Safety at EnergyTech

Together towards a bright future for Saudi youth

At EnergyTech, health and safety are fundamental values. We prioritize developing and nurturing a safety culture as the foundation of all our training programs. Our trainees and staff are our most valuable assets, and their safety is our top priority. We are committed to providing them with the necessary training to ensure their safety.

EnergyTech believes in developing and maintaining a workplace culture of health and safety. This will provide our students, employees, and visitors with a safe working environment and increase each trainee’s awareness of the importance of health and safety in the workplace. EnergyTech trainees can transfer this information to their families and friends, raising awareness of health and safety in Saudi Arabia.

EnergyTech management believes that this is achieved through an integrated plan of:

  • Provide a health and safety course during the academic training program.
  • Continuous training in health and safety throughout the technical training program.
  • Develop good business practices in all areas of EnergyTech operations and training.
  • Conduct regular briefings, seminars, and presentations on safety.
  • Develop high-quality health and safety posters throughout campus.
  • Always insist on adhering to health and safety regulations for all trainees and employees.
  • Provide personal protective equipment for all trainees, staff, and visitors to EnergyTech.

EnergyTech follows national health and safety regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition to health and safety training to meet local standards, and due to close contact with the UK and international donors, EnergyTech also trains all students to learn about UK health and safety laws and regulations. This is a great benefit to our graduate students and the companies they join.

EnergyTech offers campus nursing services and medical care for faculty and trainees daily. These facilities can deal with the first kit in emergencies. we believe that adopting a health and safety culture should accompany the faculty and trainees and become a part of their daily lives. For that, EnergyTech has hired full-time professional sports coordinators to provide advice and consultants in nutrition and physical fitness.

EnergyTech’s safety and security system includes video surveillance, smoke detectors, fixed and mobile firefighting equipment, security staff, an on-site clinic, and a nurse. The goal is to provide a safe work environment around the clock.

EnergyTech’s consideration for health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment is not just a government procedure or company or management’s requirements but rather a strategic goal that Energytech aims to achieve, and everyone shall strive to attain it for the sake of his/family, coworkers, and himself. The safest work environment is the most productive.
